I mostly use tarot as a tool for personal introspection. Even people who don’t believe in divination of any kind can use tarot as an aid to explore different perspectives to a situation or even their own psyche. These are some things which I believe I need to confront about myself before achieving any real personal growth.
1. FIXATE
What are the parts of yourself or your life that you tend to get hung up about. Confronting yourself can be good, but overly obsessing on a particular problem or aspect of yourself can inhibit growth.
2. IGNORE
Conversely, what do you tend to push to the side. This can go both ways: some are unable to see the good things in themselves or their lives, while others gloss over their faults and avoid addressing their problems.
3. FALSE
What are the things we think to be true about ourselves, or our lives that are not. These are often negative qualities, a lot of people think they are less capable, less deserving or less worthy than they really are.
4. DECIPHER
What about ourselves have we yet to understand. Everyone has some things about themselves which they don’t yet fully grasp or cannot quite put to words.
5. WANT
What do we most want from ourselves and our lives. The things we wish were more true about ourselves or that we aspire to be. This is a long process to achieve, and part of that is learning that we can’t just skip to this step, we need to deal with the other parts of ourselves too, including the undesirable parts, before we can achieve true personal growth.

Stuck between two choices? Shuffle your deck, find the Two of Pentacles, and the card on either side will reveal the most likely outcome for each option.
I’ve got another quick and easy tarot trick for y’all! The featured card for this one is The Hermit because I always associate it with taking time to care for yourself. 1. Find The Hermit in your deck. 2. The card below is what’s stressing or draining you. 3. The card above is something you can do for yourself.
We are almost at the end of the month and now is a great time to start focusing on new intentions for the next month. If this has been a hard month for you, that is okay. feel assured knowing that this is a great time to reset yourself. This spread can help you setting some goals and intentions, while also letting you know of some things you should be aware of.
1.) Energies - What energies will be following me this month? 2.) Intention - Where should I be focusing my attention? 3.) Challenges - What challenges might I face this month? 4.) Letting go - Is there something I should work towards letting go of?
After your reading, if one of the questions really stuck out to you, you could draw one or two more cards for a further explanation. For example; if I draw the Queen of Cups in reverse for my challenges, I may draw another card or two. These cards will help explain why my emotions are controlling my life, or what steps I could take to gain better control.
You are welcome to use this spread all you want for personal readings or free readings. However, please do not use this spread for paid readings. I do sell this reading on Etsy. Do not repost this image and do not remove caption. Thanks!
Applying Lenormand techniques in Tarot can be quite fun and useful. The above spread is a way I have of getting to the bottom of a situation while also practicing my knighting paths. It’s called the “Knight’s Path,” because it’s a riff on the Lenormand technique of the same name, that follows the path of a knight on the chess board.
1 - so close. the signifier for when to act, when to make the move to reclaim it.
2 - finders keepers. the path that will take you further away from your objective.
3 - what’s mine. the advantage you have that will prove useful in your pursuit.
note, when emperor, empress, or swords suit cards are present pay particular attention to the meaning of that card, for when it’s qualities appears in life.
